==Description==
===Exterior===
Marlin's cave is located in a place in [[Rock Bottom (city)|Rock Bottom]] called the Zone of Perfect Weather where the weather is always completely clear; never a drop rain falls. It is shaped like a giant wizard hat with crescents and stars on it with a small card house for the entrance.

===Interior===
Inside, it has an entrance room with a slot machine that, under certain conditions, opens the way to a path to a dark, cold, wet maze with three 4-way parts, which the player can easily get lost in. Progressing through this leads to a tower of sorts, where Marlin is upstairs in his Wizard Lair full of books, potions, and magical objects and {{Link|Patrick}} is downstairs, sleeping in Marlin's hammock.

==Trivia==
*The [[Skull Rock]] that appears in the episode "[[Scaredy Pants]]" appears where the sign that reads "Marlin's Cave" is.
*The dripping sound in the maze part of the cave leading to Marlin's wizard lair is the same as the dripping sound in the cave where SpongeBob tries to sleep in "[[Nature Pants]]."
