==Description==
The shorts look exactly like the shorts that {{Link|Patrick}} normally wears, except they have a phone inside them.

==Role in episode==
When {{Link|SpongeBob}} and Patrick are told to become spies, they go to Sandy's treedome where she shows them a series of spy gadgets, including the Pants-a-Phone. When she refuses to give them her equipment, Patrick uses her [[Knockout Ray]] on her, allowing the duo to take the equipment. The phone is built into Patrick's Bermuda-shorts. It is used only for communicating with {{Link|Mr. Krabs}}. After SpongeBob talks into it, it is revealed that if he wants to continue the call, then he must insert 25 cents, which SpongeBob later does.
