==Description==
The comic is sold at [[Near Mint Comic Books]]. It has an illustration of a barbarian {{Link|Patrick}} on the cover. The title has the word "Pat" written in red and yellow letters, with "the Hapless" written on a sword below it. There is also a box with a side profile of Patrick.

In the story, Patrick is walking in the wind when he crashes into [[Beelzebass]]'s castle. Patrick claims that Beelzebass put the castle in the way, and tries to destroy it through physically smashing into it. Beelzebass takes out his magic wand and transforms Patrick into a seahorse, a worm, a snail, a living castle, and a sea urchin, as he continues ramming into it. This collapses the castle, and the urchin Patrick takes out a fist in preparation of fighting Beelzebass. However, they are interrupted by Patrick eating the book and drooling on its pages.

==Role in episode==
When Patrick and [[FitzPatrick (character)|FitzPatrick]] are in Near Mint Comic Books, FitzPatrick gives his cousin ''Pat the Hapless'' to distract him while he causes destruction. Before the story can play out, Patrick begins chewing on the pages and drooling over the comic, distracting the characters.

Towards the end of the episode, the [[time closet]] takes FitzPatrick into the world of ''Pat the Hapless''. After destroying the castle, the barbarian Patrick is picking his teeth with Beelzebass's wand. FitzPatrick tries to ruin this Patrick's reputation, but he turns him into a sea urchin. FitzPatrick then chases after another sea urchin to imitate it.
