The '''Tentacles family''' is the family of [[Octopus|octopi]]. They were descended from [[Squidasaurus Rex]], the very first ancestor who came from the Cretaceous period. Generations past, more ancestors also came from many generations are told, including [[Squog]], a prehistoric ancestor, [[Squidly Tentacles]], the court jester during the medieval ages, and [[Hopalong Squidward Tentacles]], the bartender from  [[Krusty Kantina]] during the 19th century.

Hopalong Squidward's descendants still live in Bikini Bottom, including the notable character, [[Squidward Tentacles]].
