The Catfishstress is a supervillain who appears throughout the SpongeBob Comics series, starting with the comic The Claws of the Catfishstress! She wears a catfish mask. She is in love with Mermaid Man, and her goal is to capture him so that they can become a romantic couple.

He unmasks her and finds out that her mustache is real, not part of her costume.
