• Grandpa Cheeks - The grandfather of Sandy, mentioned in "Mooncation." At some point in his life, he flew to the moon, being the first squirrel to fly to the moon.
• Granny Cheeks - The grandmother of Sandy, who appeared in Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie.
• Pa Cheeks - Sandy and Randy's father, who appears in the book Hooray for Dads. He is mentioned in "Sandy, SpongeBob, and the Worm," in which Template:Data:Links imitates him, and appears in a photo in "Surf N' Turf." He also appeared in Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie.

• Ma Cheeks - Sandy and Randy's mother, who appears in a photo in "Surf N' Turf." According to Sandy in the game SpongeBob's Boating Bash, Ma Cheeks once said to Sandy, "Karate them with kindness." She also appeared in Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie.

• Earl Cheeks - Sandy's uncle, who appears in a flashback in "Lake Crashers."
• Sandy Cheeks - A squirrel who lives in an air-filled glass treedome in Bikini Bottom. She is the daughter of Pa and Ma Cheeks.
• Randy Cheeks - Sandy's twin brother. He was mentioned in the episode "Rodeo Daze." He later makes his appearance in Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie.
