The criminal[2] is a prisoner who first appears in the episode "Bubble Buddy," eating a Krabby Patty at the Krusty Krab; he also appears in the home console versions of the video game Lights, Camera, Pants! and the episode "Cave Dwelling Sponge."
Description
He has olive-green skin with puffy cheeks and a dark olive-green-striped dorsal fin. He also has three dark green spots on his head and wears a black mask. He has scales on his back and has black and white stripes on his clothing, as typical prisoners wear. He also has a short ball and chain on his right ankle.
In "Cave Dwelling Sponge," he is seen wearing an orange prison uniform.
Role in series
"Bubble Buddy"
When Template:Data:Links and Template:Data:Links go to the Krusty Krab, Template:Data:Links complains that Bubble Buddy cannot eat at the restaurant and that his money is no good there. Template:Data:Links appears out of the cash register and says that everyone's money will be accepted. The scene then shows the criminal with a big bag of cash on the table, implying that stolen money is good money for the Krusty Krab.
"Cave Dwelling Sponge"
The criminal makes a cameo appearance at the visitors' area in the Bikini Bottom Jail.
Role in games
Lights, Camera, Pants!
In The Bouncers menu icon and unused graphics, Krusty Krab customers include the criminal again.
Trivia
- Like Incidental 36, the criminal initially appears puffy-cheeked while eating (in "Bubble Buddy" and Lights, Camera, Pants!), and later appears puffy-cheeked without eating (in "Cave Dwelling Sponge" and the Best Year Ever poster).
- Between Lights, Camera, Pants! and "Cave Dwelling Sponge," it took him 12 years to return.
