The Dept. of Labor forces Mr. Krabs to give SpongeBob a vacation.
SpongeBob arrives at the [[Krusty Krab]] where he is surprisingly late to work due to Mr. Krabs flipping the time on a clock. Mr. Krabs threatens to fire him if he shows up late again. Their conversation is quickly interrupted when a worker from the Bikini Bottom Dep. of Labor shows up and ask SpongeBob how many days he has worked, to which the latter replies with ninety-three. The worker then shows his ID card to Mr. Krabs and says that it's illegal to have an employee work for ninety-four days in a row, and tells Mr. Krabs to let SpongeBob have the day off. Mr. Krabs refuses to do so until the worker threatens to fine Mr. Krabs with $100, prompting the latter to kick SpongeBob out of the Krusty Krab in order to avoid getting the fine. However, SpongeBob refuses to leave the Krusty Krab as he to make it up for Mr. Krabs for being late. Mr. Krabs tries to make SpongeBob leave multiple times, but the latter keeps finding a way in. Seeing as Mr. Krabs will never allow his employees to take a day off, the worker tells Mr. Krabs that he needs to pay the fine. Mr. Krabs goes crazy and smashes the Krusty Krab to pieces, stating that SpongeBob can't work at a destroyed restaurant. This forces the worker to leave saying that Mr. Krabs is off the hook. Squidward then places a sign saying "Closed for repairs" as the comic ends.
