*At least some of the portraits seen in the exhibition originate from ''[https://issuu.com/d.krassner/docs/sa_fine_art_guide The SpongeBob Fine Arts Collection]''.
*The parody portraits are also used in tie-in media, like ''[[Lights, Camera, Pants!]]'', [[Nickelodeon Magazine]], "[[Square Roots: The Story of SpongeBob SquarePants]]," ''[[Think Happy - The Year of the Sponge]]'' and ''[[SpongeBob's Top 100]]'' promos, ''[[The SpongeBob SquarePants Experience: A Deep Dive into the World of Bikini Bottom]]'', "[[The Museum of Cartoon Sponges]]" short, and ''[[Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated]].''
**The creation of these portraits was also showcased on ''Nick Extra!'' and ''Nickelodeon Europe'' bumpers, in {{Time|2008}} and 2009 respectively.

Information[1]

Template:Rewrite The exhibition is split into two parts. First, Stephen Hillenburg - the creator of SpongeBob SquarePants - revisits the works of great masters with parodies of works by Van Gogh, De Vinci, Botticelli, or Magritte, which are exhibited in diptych with a reproduction of the original works.

The second part of the exhibition puts the character in its aquatic context and challenges the audience to protect natural environments. Through panels in which SpongeBob and Eau de Paris talk about fresh water, how to preserve it, how to consume it and others in which he meets the famous WWF panda, he becomes a militant of the protection of the planet and gives even more desire to mobilize for the Earth.

Nickelodeon also revealed the history and secrets of creating SpongeBob and offers an answer to the question: "How this sponge has become a trendy icon and adored by the stars?"[2]

Also, there are things such as a four meters long statue of SpongeBob, merchandising for fans to buy, and three new episodes airing at the theatre of the museum.[3]
