SpongeBob and Patrick are playing catch, and Patrick is amused he catches things easily because he has fingers, while he does not. At first SpongeBob is proud, but soon feels left out when Patrick points out he's the only one in Bikini Bottom who has fingers; he feels further shunned when Mr. Krabs and the customers give him a hand, so he decides to run away from Bikini Bottom and eventually ends up in [[Base Eight]], a town full of fish with fingers. | |||
SpongeBob enjoys all the finger-related activities the town gives, but soon has enough for one day and gets tired. But the Base Eight fish refuse to let him leave and want him to play more, and he runs away while they chase him. SpongeBob returns to Bikini Bottom and meets up with Patrick, now happy he has fingers and having realized it doesn't matter if he has them, it's how he uses them. Patrick quotes, "Yeah, I guess fingers aren't so bad, not compared to your freaky head holes!" Offended, SpongeBob cries, "My what?!" as the story ends. | |||

Synopsis
SpongeBob and Patrick are playing catch, and Patrick is amused he catches things easily because he has fingers, while he does not.
