The Jelly Angler is a vehicle created by Sandy for catching jellyfish. It appears in the Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years episode "The Jelly Life."

Description

It is a submarine that is shaped like an angler fish. It is colored golden brown, has a large glass windshield on the front, and has a jellyfish net attachment on top to catch jellyfish.

Role in episode

Sandy invents the Jelly Angler and remotely pilots it so SpongeBob can catch his first jellyfish. However, despite flying through a massive swarm, they are unable to catch one. Some of the Kamp Koral campers begin laughing at SpongeBob, so Sandy pilots the Jelly Angler over them and releases a large burst of steam, making them cough. The campers throw rocks at the Jelly Angler, one of which gets caught in its net. The Jelly Angler crashes, and SpongeBob and Patrick evacuate safely.

At the end of the episode, the Jelly Angler is repaired. However, SpongeBob simply uses it to observe jellyfish rather than catch them, feeling a connection to them after living with them in the wild.

• The Jelly Angler has a very similar design to Sandy's submarine in the main series.
