The host[1] is a member of the League of Cheapskate Crabs who appears in the episode "Kracked Krabs."
Description
He is a fat red crab with a lengthy head and gray hairs on both sides. He wears a brown shirt with a turquoise tie.
Role in episode
He is first seen introducing the candidates for The Cheapest Crab Award at the Om Hotel. First, he shows Mr. Krabs advertising free Krabby Patties before charging each customer $1 per footstep. Next, he shows a second member of the league, Beuford BargainBottom, scanning Frank's chips three times at the supermarket checkout. Finally, he shows Dwight T. Wad picking up used toilet paper from the bathroom floor and placing it back on the roll. This compilation makes Mr. Krabs nervous, so he asks SpongeBob to testify for him and do some exaggerating. However, SpongeBob misinterprets Krabs' request and starts praising his generosity, leading to Krabs' disqualification from the contest. Later, when Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob steal everything from their hotel room, their luggage bursts open, revealing the entire room inside. The host is impressed and awards Krabs with the trophy, before yanking it out of his hands with a string.
