• [SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy are standing exhausted on top of a cliff below a zip-line.]
• Campers: [cheering as they begin to ride the zip-line]
• Patrick: This is boring.
• Sandy: [sighs] We've done this a million times.
• SpongeBob: [taps foot, sighs] Maybe this'll put the ol' zip back into the zip-line. [uses his tongue to push Patrick and Sandy back before using his tongue to grab onto the zip-line and ride it]
• Sandy: [uses her tail to ride the zip-line]
• Patrick: Hmm. [presses against forehead] I'm gonna have to use my brain for this one. [strains to open the top of his head, then his brain's limbs grab onto the zip-line to ride it; cheering, then gets flung into the side of a cliff] [groans and crawls on top of the cliff]
• [Patrick's brain re-enters his head.]
• Patrick: [through his brain] Still boring. [his brain shuts the top of his head] Next.
• [Bubble transition to SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy sitting on top of one another on a unicycle, all unamused.]
• SpongeBob: Maybe this'll give us a thrill.
• [They jump off the cliff and quickly ride down it, still unamused.]
• All: [yawn]
• [They jump off another cliff. Cut to Larry taking a shower outside.]
• Larry: [lathering himself with soap while singing, then the trio on the bike runs into him, breaking the shower and forcing him onto the bike, carrying the trio] Whoa! [crashes into the outhouse]
• All: [groaning]
• [The outhouse falls over to reveal a camper using it.]
• Sandy: Next.
• Camper: [groans, takes a piece of toilet paper]
• [Cut to SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy running on a log in a lake, still unamused.]
• Patrick: Still boring.
• SpongeBob: [holding up a crab monster's mouth while inside it] Nope, no surprises here.
• Sandy: [cut to the trio skydiving] Dull.
• [Bubble transition to the Krusty Kanteen, where campers are eating and conversing. SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy sit at a bench with their slop, bored.]
• Sandy: Well, we done did every tedious challenge in camp. Now what?
• SpongeBob: [he and Sandy pick at their food, then gasps] Ooh, let's make up our own challenge.
• Sandy: We need somethin' [elephant roars] big! Somethin' that no one's ever done before. [gasps] I got it. I challenge us to stay up all night.
• Patrick: [spits out his food onto SpongeBob]
• SpongeBob: [mumbling]
• Patrick: [licks the food off of SpongeBob's face]
• SpongeBob: Ah! [nose rebounds] Stay up all night? Hmm, that's interesting. I've heard tell of a 3:00 A.M.
• Patrick: But does it even exist?
• SpongeBob: I heard a camper tried it once. They went [eyes and arms rotate] mad, and now live in a tree [points] deep in the forest.
• [Scene pans over to the forest, where a raggedy camper with red glowing eyes is inside a tree.]
• Camper: [pupils shrink, screeches]
• SpongeBob and Patrick: [whimpering while holding each other]
• Sandy: [shoves SpongeBob and Patrick] Aw, old wives' tales. Are y'all in?
• SpongeBob and Patrick: [look at each other] Dare we?
• All: [stand on the bench] We dare it! [run away to the Dinghy cabin, laughing]
• Sandy: [opens door, she and SpongeBob go inside]
• Patrick: [doesn't turn left and faceplants on the ground, then gets up, laughs, and goes inside]
• [The time quickly changes from day to night.]
• Sandy: If we're gonna sneak out and stay up all night, we better make it look like we're in bed.
• SpongeBob: [gets on the bed and throws random objects on it, rearranging them to resemble him, laughs]
• Patrick: [humming, dumps a trash bag onto the bed, covers it with the blanket, then hits it with his fist, gives thumbs-up] Perfect! Huh?
• Perch: [loudspeaker, off-screen] Attention, campers. Lights out in one minute.
• SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy: [giggle as they press against the wall]
• SpongeBob: [winks at Patrick, who winks back] Good night, Mr. Tentacles.
• Patrick: [giggles]
• Sandy: See you all in the morning.
• SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy: [giggle]
• Squidward: [in his room] Shut up and go to sleep!
• Perch: [loudspeaker] All right, campers. Lights out, and sweet dreams to all.
• [The cabins all turn their lights off. Sandy opens up a hatch and SpongeBob jumps inside, followed by Sandy.]
• Patrick: [giggles, then dives for the hatch and crashes down]
• Squidward: [wakes up] Huh? [out of bed] You're supposed to be in bed! What's all the noise out here? [looks around, then looks at the decoy SpongeBob] Huh? [one of the decoy's boots fall off] Yeah, he's here. [looks down to Patrick's decoy, then sniffs] Eww. [covers nose] Yep, he's here, too. [walks away]
• Patrick: [below the cabin with SpongeBob and Sandy] I don't like it under here. [flails arms and legs] The air is too hard to see.
• Sandy: It's called darkness. And there's nothin' to be afraid of.
• Preda: [cackles and appears behind the trio] That's right, darlings. [puts her arms on SpongeBob and Patrick's shoulders] Nothing to be afraid of. [screams and scares them all away] At least not for them.
• Camper: [moaning, stuck on Preda's web]
• Preda: [cackles]
• SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy: [running away, then hide behind the General Store]
• Mr. Krabs: [humming while patrolling with a flashlight and spinning around a baton]
• SpongeBob: [quietly] It's camp master Krabs. Ditch it. Shh! [runs away]
• Sandy: Shh! [runs away]
• Patrick: Shh! [runs away]
• SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy: [continue running away]
• Patrick: [accidentally bumps into some crates and barrels, knocking down a clock and setting off its alarm, grunts and turns it off, then accidentally turns on a vacuum and turns it off, then covers himself and whimpers as the vacuum hits the crate and makes the toaster fall] Hm? [the toaster shoots out a piece of toast, which he shushes]
• Mr. Krabs: Hm? [looks around] Hm. [shrugs] Hm. [walks off]
• Patrick: [wipes sweat off his forehead, which fall onto the vacuum's lever, turning it on in reverse]
• [The toaster starts spitting out toast and the alarm clock goes off again.]
• Patrick: [screaming and covering his ears]
• Mr. Krabs: [raises baton and aims flashlight] Hey, who goes there? Camp intruders are gonna get a hickory shampoo from me belly club. [moves ahead]
• Patrick: [runs away from the scene and runs from Mr. Krabs along with SpongeBob and Sandy]
• SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy: [dive behind a rock to hide]
• Mr. Krabs: Come out, come out, whoever you are. [laughs, then gets crushed by a safe] Oh!
• SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy: [move out from behind the rock]
• Mrs. Puff: [in a robber outfit, lands on the safe, then pushes it off] We were never here.
• SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy: [nodding]
• Mrs. Puff: [slowly pushes the safe as Mr. Krabs lies snoring on the ground]
• SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy: [tiptoeing past Mr. Krabs]
• Patrick: [screams and runs away as he hears screeching animals]
• SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy: [running away to Narlene's shack]
• Patrick: I'm so tired.
• SpongeBob: [laughs, all catch their breath on Narlene's shack's porch] Ooh, let's get some Sugar Squeeze from Narlene. That stuff'll keep us up all week.
• Sandy: [looking inside] All the lights are out. They must be asleep.
• Patrick: [gets woken up by SpongeBob nudging him]
• SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy: [enter the shack through the front window]
• Narlene and Nobby: [snoring; Narlene is sleeping on her hammock, and Nobby is sleeping on an open desk drawer]
• SpongeBob: [jumps on a barrel next to Narlene, quietly] Hey, Narlene. [Narlene turns in her sleep] Are you awake? Wakey wakey, pleasey [flicking Narlene's tusk] pleasy. We just want some Sugar Squeezey.
• Patrick: [screams, knocking over the barrel, SpongeBob, and Sandy] Wake up! Hmm. [picks up Nobby, who is still sleeping] This might work. [pulls on Nobby's leg like a lawnmower, then pokes Narlene with him]
• Narlene: [screams off-screen as the shack's roof jumps repeatedly from fighting, pokes her foot into Patrick and Sandy's faces, then hits SpongeBob with Nobby; pants as she takes tired punches]
• SpongeBob: Narlene, we didn't come to fight.
• Narlene: [stops punching] SpongeBob? Patrick? [gets up] Sandy? What in tarnation? [picks up Nobby and lets him go]
• SpongeBob: We came for some Sugar Squeeze to help us stay up all night.
• Patrick: [gets up] Yeah! We wanna see 3:00 A.M.!
• Narlene: Well, whatever it takes to get you [walks off with Nobby] outta here and us back to sleep.
• Nobby: [tiredly flailing his arms while gibbering]
• SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy: [follow them]
• Narlene: [sighs while looking at her shelves] Uh, what do we have here? Sleepy, sleepy, Sugar Squeezey, this oughta do the trick. [grabs a bottle, takes off the cap and spits it out, and pours some in the trio's mouths]
• Sandy: Thanks, Narlene.
• SpongeBob: Thanks, Narlene.
• Patrick: Thanks, Nar-- [burps] lene.
• SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy: [quickly climb out the front window to leave]
• Patrick: Whoa! [crashes]
• Narlene: [jumps while looking at the bottle] Uh-oh. This ain't Sugar Squeeze. It's Grandma Nellie's Old Tyme Camomile Sleepy Squeeze. Think they'll notice?
• Nobby: [gibbering, howls]
• Narlene: Ah, well. [walks away with Nobby] I'm sure they'll be fine.
• SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy: [yawn against a coral tree outside, sleepy]
• Sandy: I'm sleepier than ever.
• Patrick: Can't go on.
• SpongeBob: Gotta stay up all night, but so sleepy. [begins closing his eyes]
• Owl camper: [screeches in tree]
• SpongeBob: [yells and gets up, then looks around and bangs on Patrick and Sandy] Come on, you guys. Fight it! We didn't break all the rules just to fall asleep in the creepy woods. We came to stay awake all night. To look [points at his eye] dawn in the eye, [hugs himself] give her a hug, and say, "Good morning, dawn."
• Patrick: Who's Dawn?
• Sandy: We can do this! We just gotta work together! [bangs fists]
• SpongeBob and Patrick: [yawn]
• Sandy: [points] Suck them yawns back in!
• SpongeBob and Patrick: [yawn in reverse]
• [Bubble transition to the trio walking in the woods, opening each other's eyes to stay awake.]
• SpongeBob: [groans, rubs bloodshot eyes, then hallucinates a live tree]
• Tree: You're getting sleepy. [background changes to be more vibrant] Sleepy. [creates a root from the ground]
• SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy: [trip over the branch, yell, and land on top of each other]
• Tree: You're getting sleepy-- [looks at a flying orb] oh. Ooh.
• [The orb turns into a fairy.]
• Rhiannon: That will be enough of that. [uses her magic staff to turn the tree back to normal, then leaps and makes the trio float in the air]
• SpongeBob: [gasps, then the trio fall back down] Who are you?
• Rhiannon: I am Rhiannon Sky. [moving around] The princess of pep. The enigma of energy. The baroness of bubbly. A creature of the night. [flies away to float in a colored background, interacting with the realistic foods] I like black tea with biscuits and butterscotch, ghost peppers, and kicking it up a notch. [lands] And that is precisely why I've come, you see. To let you know that you're [gets near Patrick, who opens his eyes] wide awake. [moves her arms in the position of a 3:00 A.M. clock] And it is now 3:00 A.M. [disappears in a sparkle]
• SpongeBob: [pulls out a comically large clock and gasps] It is 3:00 A.M.! It really does exist!
• Patrick: And we're alive to talk about it!
• All: [jump and scream as they hear screeching, then hold onto each other, then let go]
• SpongeBob: [looks around] Huh? Where'd she go?
• Sandy: Maybe crazy ladies who disappear in the creepy woods is a sign we should go back to camp. [all run away]
• [Bubble transition to the trio walking sleepily outside.]
• SpongeBob: [weakly raising arms] Hooray, we conquered the night.
• Sandy: [yawns] Take that, bedtime.
• Patrick: We're never gonna sleep again.
• Campers: [cheering as they watch the trio walk back to camp]
• Mr. Krabs: [next to the camp sign with a banner that says "Nite Owls"] Gather round, everybody. Congratulations to the first campers to ever win their [Harvey appears holding three badges on a pillow, which Mr. Krabs takes] Up All Night badges. [close-up of SpongeBob's badge on his pants] They are true night owls.
• Mrs. Puff: Congratulations. [pushing a bed] After staying up all night, you night owls truly earned this. May you sleep like royalty.
• Patrick: [he, SpongeBob, and Sandy jump on the bed to lay on it] I guess a little nap wouldn't hurt.
• Mrs. Puff: [pushes the bed along]
• Campers: [still cheering]
• SpongeBob: [he, Patrick, and Sandy wave] Thank you, thank you. Thank you, thank you. Thank you. [fade to reality, where they are sleeping against the coral tree while waving] Thank you. Thank you.
• Rhiannon: [throws a blanket onto the trio] I guess they couldn't hack it. [disappears, leaving an orb which flies into the air]
• Owl camper: Goodnight, everyone. Sleep tight.
