Scaredy Pat is the sixth and final comic strip in SpongeBob Comics No. 63.
Characters
- The Hookening announcer (single appearance)
- Patrick Star
- Customers (single appearance)
- Squidward Tentacles
- SpongeBob SquarePants
- Eugene H. Krabs
Synopsis
Patrick has just finished watching a horror movie called The Hookening. The host advises him to sleep with his eyes open, or else he will be the next victim. He tapes his eyes open and decides to watch cartoons for the rest of the night. The following day, his eyes are gunky and he is drooling, while still having the tape on his eyes, giving him an unintentionally frightening appearance. He is also so tired and hungry that he is unable to talk, only mumbling instead.
When he goes to get food at the Krusty Krab, the customers mistake him for a monster and panic. Squidward calls Mr. Krabs for help, and he sees that all the customers are leaving, making him cry. SpongeBob sprays the "monster" with ketchup and mustard, which Patrick eats, curing his hunger and leaving him able to talk again. When he realizes that Patrick drove all the customers away, Mr. Krabs gets so angry that he starts hissing, drooling, and is unable to speak coherently, scaring Patrick and making him run to warn everyone about Mr. Krabs.
