Worm incubator

The worm incubator is a stand which Sandy uses to incubate her unhatched worms. It appears in the episode "House Sittin' for Sandy."

Description

It is a wooden stand featuring six glass domes where worms are incubated.

Role in episode

Sandy informs SpongeBob that she needs a house sitter, prompting him to visit her treedome to scope the place out. She gives him a list of instructions and shows him her worm incubator. While inspecting it, SpongeBob notices something that appears to be a worm attempting to hatch, but it turns out to be Patrick poking his head through the incubator. Later, SpongeBob accidentally drops a flask while speaking with Patrick, which rolls into Sandy's robot warehouse. This angers the robots and leads to the destruction of the entire treedome, including the incubator. When Sandy returns, she uses her specialized ray gun to reverse the damages. However, SpongeBob accidentally drops another flask while celebrating with Patrick, leading to the incubator's destruction once again.
