At first, SpongeBob tries to convince himself that it is a fine gift because it is from Patrick, though he quickly changes his mind when a pair of underwear manages to escape Gummy and crawls toward him and speaks. After this scenario, SpongeBob tries to get rid of Gummy several times, though Patrick keeps getting in the way as he gave this as a gift to SpongeBob and believes it should not be thrown away.
