Bikini Bottom (Battle for Bikini Bottom)

Template:LTab Template:Level Bikini Bottom is the main hub area of the console versions of Battle for Bikini Bottom and Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated. Taxi Stands are available to warp the player to the other levels in the game. The player can also explore various buildings in Bikini Bottom including the Krusty Krab, the Chum Bucket, Template:Data:Links, and Shady Shoals Rest Home.

After the player defeats Robo-Sandy, they can access the second part of Bikini Bottom as well as the SpongeBall power-up. After the player defeats Robo-Patrick, they can access the entirety of Bikini Bottom. Finally, after the player completes the Chum Bucket Lab, they can travel to the SpongeBall Arena at any time using the raised platform in front of the Police Station.

Rehydrated changes

• A picture of SpongeBob and Patrick has been added hanging over SpongeBob's living room chair.
• Groceries have been added to atop SpongeBob's fridge.
• A star has been added to the sink in SpongeBob's kitchen.
• The "friends" picture of SpongeBob and Squidward has been changed to a still from "Good Ol' Whatshisname."
• The picture of SpongeBob with Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy in the bedroom has been changed to a still of the drifter from "No Weenies Allowed."
• Some of Gary's meows in the first cutscene have been rerecorded.
• In the first cutscene, it begins with an overview of the living room in the original; in the remake, it is changed to a medium shot of SpongeBob and Gary.
• Squidward does not shout, "Hey!" when SpongeBob uses a bubble spin move to make a mustache appear on the giant self-portrait.
• At the entrance to the Flying Dutchman's Graveyard, a green moon is now visible.

Walkthrough

Template:Section-expand Hidden within Bikini Bottom are eight Golden Spatulas and eight of Patrick's socks. The player can also find three pairs of golden underwear, each of which will permanently increase the health for all playable characters. Mr. Krabs and Patrick will also offer additional Golden Spatulas for trading Shiny Objects and socks, respectively.

On Top of the Pineapple

• SpongeBob presses down on a button in between Patrick and Squidward's houses with his bubble feet. After this, a green platform will appear transporting him to the top of Squidward's house, then the pattern of platforms continues until the player is lead all the way up to the top of SpongeBob's house, collecting the Golden Spatula on top of the roof. There is a time limit set on this challenge to make it so that if the player doesn't get there in time, the platforms will disappear and SpongeBob will fall to the ground, forcing him to start over again.

On Top of Shady Shoals

• The player steps on the platform button that removes the cage covering the red button. After this, SpongeBob must aim his Bubble Bowl at said button. Once this happens, a trampoline will appear to transport SpongeBob to the top of the Police Station and the player has to make him follow the green platforms that lead all the way up to the roof of Shady Shoal's Rest Room, collecting the Golden Spatula in the process. There is a time limit set on this challenge to make it so that if the player doesn't get there in time, the platforms will disappear and SpongeBob will fall to the ground, forcing him to start over again.

On Top of the Chum Bucket

• SpongeBob must use his Bubble Cruise to hit three buttons to the right side of the Chum Bucket exterior. After this is done, a trampoline will appear escorting SpongeBob all the way to the top of the Chum Bucket. He must follow all the green platforms leading to the Krusty Krab clam sign, collecting the Golden Spatula in the process. There is a time limit set on this challenge to make it so that if the player doesn't get there in time, the platforms will disappear and SpongeBob will fall to the ground, forcing him to start over again.

SpongeBob's Closet

• Pay 50 Shiny Objects to access the closet in SpongeBob's House and collect the Golden Spatula. This Spatula is needed to exit SpongeBob's House.

Annoy Squidward

• SpongeBob must use his bubble wand to destroy everything destructible in Squidward's house, mainly his wooden furniture. He must also swipe his bubble wand on one of his paintings, which gives the picture-framed Squidward a mustache and rewards the player with one of Patrick's socks in the window sill. Then SpongeBob must jump around a bit in Squidward's presence to be rewarded with a Golden Spatula by the latter.

Ambush at the Tree Dome

• SpongeBob must destroy all the robots invading Sandy's home and the Duplicatotrons responsible for their creation, within a 2:40 time limit. Once he is done with this, Sandy will reward him with a Golden Spatula.

Infestation at the Krusty Krab

• SpongeBob must destroy all the robots invading the Krusty Krab and the Duplicatrons responsible for their creation. Once he is done with this, he will receive a Golden Spatula. Also, if he manages to destroy all of the gag items, he will receive a sock.

A Wall Jump in the Bucket

• There is a Golden Spatula floating in between the air duct. To get it, SpongeBob must use his wall jump ability on the duct until he reaches its destination.

Mr. Krabs

Mr. Krabs will always be present in Bikini Bottom and allow the player to trade Shiny Objects in exchange for Golden Spatulas. Each exchange will cost more than the last, up to a maximum of eight Golden Spatulas. They are as follows:

• Pay Mr. Krabs 6,000 Shiny Objects (3,500 in Rehydrated)
• Pay Mr. Krabs 9,000 Shiny Objects (4,000 in Rehydrated)

• Pay Mr. Krabs 15,000 Shiny Objects (5,000 in Rehydrated)
• Pay Mr. Krabs 18,000 Shiny Objects (5,500 in Rehydrated)
• Pay Mr. Krabs 21,000 Shiny Objects (6,500 in Rehydrated)
• Pay Mr. Krabs 24,000 Shiny Objects (7,500 in Rehydrated)

Patrick

Patrick is always present in front of his rock house and will offer a Golden Spatula in exchange for ten of his socks, up to a maximum of eight spatulas.

Attractions

Two attractions are available to the player in Bikini Bottom that aren't required to complete the game.

The first is the Police Station, where a device documents Bikini Bottom's Most Wanted: descriptions for all of the robots that the player has encountered and defeated at least once.

The second is a movie theater. The player must pay 40,000 Shiny Objects to enter. Once inside, the player can browse through concept art and general art for the game.

Trivia

• The movie supposedly showing at the theater is titled Revenge of the Bride of Plankton's Other Brain.
  • In Rehydrated, the title is changed to "Boats!"
