Template:LTab Template:Location Bora Bora Bottom is a tropical island resort that appears in the episode "Plane to Sea."

Description

Not much is known due to its brief appearance, but it is a tropical island resort that is far away from Bikini Bottom, and is visited for vacationing. The sign has a bright pink background with turquoise text displaying "Bora Bora," and a blue overlay with yellow text displaying "Bottom."

Role in episode

Template:Data:Links wins a trip to Bora Bora Bottom in the mail after Template:Data:Links and Template:Data:Links open it. At first Squidward thought it was a trip for just himself, but then he learns it's a family trip and he has to bring SpongeBob and Patrick with him, passing them off as children as he pretends to be their dad, so they can get on the plane. Throughout the trip, SpongeBob and Patrick cause a lot of childish mishaps, even causing the pilots to fall off the plane leaving them and Squidward to take over.

Soon the plane finally reaches Bora Bora Bottom, but just before Squidward could get off, the plane suddenly starts up again and begins leaving, since it was on autopilot the whole time and the trip was not really a vacation to Bora Bora Bottom; Squidward only won a trip to "see" the resort, not stay at it. The episode closes with Squidward facing a trip back to Bikini Bottom with the same antics as he screams with despair learning the trip was all for nothing.
