He is a dark teal fish with faded blue lips and light orange fins and limbs. He wears a white tank top and red shorts. He also has a visible chin and wears a silver lifeguard whistle around his neck. In his older appearances, the whistle was colored golden. In many of his appearances, he has been shown to lack the whistle around his neck due to the fact that he has been portrayed to be a regular citizen of [[Bikini Bottom]] instead of a lifeguard in many of his appearances.
