The balloon is an object that appears in the episode "Life of Crime."

Description

It is an ordinary red balloon with a white string attached to it.

Role in episode

SpongeBob and Patrick see a balloon stand and, realizing they don't have money, decide to "borrow" it. As they think about all the things they will do with the balloon, it suddenly pops. Under the false impression that they have just committed the crime of stealing, the two flee town.

Trivia

• A balloon named Squeaky is later seen in the episode "Doodle Dimension."
  • However, this balloon is red and it doesn't have a gender.
