The episode name was confirmed in a tweet by Vincent Waller on December 12, 2016. In the tweet, he also confirmed that Doug Lawrence wrote the episode.[1]

- Despite being said the Primitive Sponge was returning, a new cave sponge returned instead.
- The fourth wall is broken when at the end when Cave sponge hits the screen with his club, causing to crack.
