Template:ObjectThe Challenge Coin is a coin given to SpongeBob and Patrick by Sage. It appears in The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run.

Appearance

It is a blue coin with the golden outline, a tumbleweed in the center, and words "In Sage We Trust" and "Tolle Animos".

Role in movie

It was given to SpongeBob and Patrick by Sage in their shared dream, saying that the courage they need is in it. After the duo arrives in Atlantic City, they lose the coin in a game, after which Sage says that the coin is just a symbol, and the courage the friends seek is really inside them and not in the coin.
