- He was the voice actor for the Dirty Bubble in "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy II."
- He passed away in 2007 from a complication of pneumonia. After his death, his body was cremated. Presently, Tom Kenny voices Dirty Bubble.
- Reilly was a homosexual, although he didn't admit this until his one-man show Save it for the Stag. His partner was Patrick Hughes III (from 1980–2007).
- Charles Nelson Reilly is best known for playing the evil magician Hoo Doo in a 1971 children show called Lidsville, Funny enough Charles later on voiced the Dirty Bubble and they both have the similar voice.
