Reception
Trivia
- This episode premiered in Russia on July 27, 2018, exactly 13 days before it premiered in the US.
- "My leg!:" Fred screams this when Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob to break a leg during his cooking show.
- This is one of the few episodes to have a "The End" card.
- This episode aired eight years after "You Don't Know Sponge" and "Hide and Then What Happens?" premiered and one year after "Plankton Retires" premiered in Latin America.
- SpongeBob having stage fright contradicts the fact that in many episodes, he is perfectly fine going on stage.
- This episode likely takes place before those episodes, since SpongeBob would have a better time at it.
- SpongeBob putting a shoe onto the Krabby Patty he nervously makes is a reference to the episode "Pickles."
Cultural references
- ChefBob insulting the customers could possibly be referencing the famous chef Gordon Ramsay.
- The live-action audience at the end looks just like the scene from The Muppets Take Manhattan show.
Errors
- When SpongeBob overhears ChefBob making offensive jokes to the customers, he is not wearing his hat.
