Template:Song A Poem is a poem Patrick wrote when he was 6 years old. It was shown in a flashback of Patrick's in the episode "Sing a Song of Patrick".

The verses of the poem were:

"Roses Are Blue,
Violets Are Red,
I have to go to the bathroom.

After un-mistakenly reading the poem to his gym class, Patrick ate it. The gym teacher said, "How many times do I have to tell you this is gym class?!", and then Patrick got hit with dodgeballs.
