He plays the drums in "Prehibernation Week." Recently, Springer created and co-directed the pilot episode for Korgoth of Barbaria in collaboration with Genndy Tartakovsky. Springer also was the voice of the animated character Laughing Bubble in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie in (2004). After Template:Data:Links, he left SpongeBob to direct episodes of Gravity Falls. He wrote on 71 episodes in total. He also wrote a few episodes of Disney's Mickey Mouse.
