Template:Person Aaron Paul Springer (born September 5, 1973; age Template:Age) is a former SpongeBob SquarePants crew member who worked on the show from Template:Data:Links to Template:Data:Links.

Biography

Springer is a modern animator, episode writer and storyboard artist. Besides his work on SpongeBob SquarePants, he is best known as a storyboard artist for the animated series Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack. He also has directed several episodes. He plays the real-life drummer in "Prehibernation Week", however he is uncredited.[1] In 2006, Springer created and co-directed the pilot episode for Korgoth of Barbaria in collaboration with Genndy Tartakovsky. Springer also was the voice of the animated character "Laughing Bubble" in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie in 2004.

After season 8, he left SpongeBob to direct episodes of Gravity Falls. He wrote on 71 episodes in total. He also wrote some episodes of Disney's Mickey Mouse.

Springer was the only original writer to have stayed after The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie; interestingly, Springer was the only veteran writer who did not return for Template:Data:Links. It is revealed that he is working on the third movie.[2]

Springer is the creator of a TV show entitled Billy Dilley's Super-Duper Subterranean Summer which premiered on Disney XD in June 2017.
