Detective Eraser is a character who appears in the episode "Squidness Protection." He is the twin brother of Elmer Eraser. He is the good twin, while Elmer is the evil twin.
Description
He is the nearly same as his brother but his attire is a beige trench coat with a brown belt and a similar colored fedora with the crown mimicking the mohawk that Elmer has. Like his brother, he does have a pencil eraser as well but instead on his right arm.
Role in episode
Squidward, SpongeBob, and Patrick mistake him for his brother as he warns Squidward about him as SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward hide in a glass house. Detective Eraser finds them as he chases SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward all around town.
However, as SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward enter a cave, he admits to SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward that he is not Elmer Eraser as he says that he is Detective Eraser, the brother of Elmer. He tells them that Elmer Eraser was arrested and that Squidward does not need witness protection anymore as he erases Squidward's outfit back to his original one.
