- This is the third time SpongeBob watches a scary movie. The first was in the episode Krab Borg and the second was in the episode Planet of the Jellyfish.
- This episode aired in Greece on July 1, 2013, it will air in the USA on October 14 as a Halloween special.
- The title card has SpongeBob's eyes on it.
- This episode might be simillar to Krab Borg because SpongeBob and Patrick thinks the monster is after them.
