The male fancy fish is a character who appears in the episode "SpongeBob LongPants."
Description
He is a dark olive-green fish with dark blue fins. He wears a faded blue suit with a light pink undershirt and a red bowtie, black shoes, and a gold monocle.
Role in episode
When Template:Data:Links gives a meal at Fancy! to the fancy fish, he invites him to a party. However, when they get to the party, it is not the type that interests him. The fancy fish tells him his behavior would probably make him think he belonged to the Krusty Krab, but his long pants prevent him from doing so. SpongeBob then sees a car with a poster the Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy movie, and asks if they could watch it. The fancy fish does not want to watch that movie, but rather watch The Table.
After the movie, he asks SpongeBob if he wants to drink coffee and watch the nightly news, but SpongeBob still wants to watch the Mermaid Man movie. The fancy fish once again thinks SpongeBob is someone who belongs to the Krusty Krab and then reveals that not only does he go there, but he actually works there. The fancy fish calls him a peasant in long pants and then leaves.
