• This is the second time in which a SpongeBob character announced the nominees for the Kids' Choice Awards. The first was the 2000 Kids' Choice Awards short.
• This short premiered during "Kids Choice Awards: All the Noms," a Nickelodeon special in which SeanDoesMagic, Owen Holt, and Pierson Wodzynski guided the audience through the 2023 Kids Choice' Awards nominees.
• Along with the rest of the special, this short received 108,000 viewers on premiere, making it the lowest-rated piece of SpongeBob media in history.
• The animation used here is similar to the one presented in the NFL short "Slime Time!," the "2022 Kids' Choice Awards short," and Patrick's commentary during the NFL Nickmas Game.
