— Lou selling fish sticks after an audience-frying incident, "The Fry Cook Games"
|
Template:Object Fish sticks are a food item that appear in the episode "The Fry Cook Games."
Role in episode
Template:Data:Links accidentally flips the giant frying container and sends hot oil onto some of the audience, who all happen to be fish, thus turning them into live-action fish sticks. Lou immediately seized the opportunity to sell these fish sticks as actual food, calling out "Fish sticks! Get your fish sticks here!" to grab attention to this newly established commodity.
Trivia
- They are mentioned in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie video game and Battle for Bikini Bottom when Template:Data:Links is knocked out.
- They are also mentioned in "Don't Look Now" when SpongeBob and Patrick mistake Template:Data:Links for the fisherman from Fisherman 4: Attack of the Hook and worry that he will turn them into fish sticks.
- A similar cannibalism joke is used in the episode "Ditchin'," in which it is revealed that a fish eating fish-shaped candies, such as Quasi-Gummy Chewy Candy Fish, is considered illegal, as suggested by Dale's arrest.
