General

• This episode was originally going to be titled "Food PBBFT! Truck." The only difference is that the finalized title replaces the second "B" with an "F."
• The title card background for this episode is similar to that of "Senior Discount," except this one has a darker background.
• This episode marks Rock Bottom's third appearance in the series. The first was in "Rock Bottom" and the second was in "Out of the Picture."
  • However, this episode marks the second major appearance since "Rock Bottom."
• This is the second episode in which SpongeBob sells Krabby Patties in a vehicle. The first was "20,000 Patties Under the Sea."
  • The difference is that this time, Squidward is with him instead of Patrick.
• This episode and its sister both use "Jovial Pirate's Jig" as the opening track.
• One of the signs at the Rock Bottom Mall reads "SB-138," which is a reference to the production code of "Rock Bottom."

Errors

• Incidental 104's shirt disappears at the beginning of the episode at the Krusty Krab.
