Frank the Whale is a whale seen only in Ripped Pants and You Don't Know Sponge. In Ripped Pants, he first appears emerging out of the sand, saying that the people who buried him in the sand forgot about him. He is then seen singing the Ripped Pants song with SpongeBob. He appears again in You Don't Know Sponge, where he hears Patrick make whale sounds. Frank heard Patrick's whale sound and thought it was his ex-wife, Martha, calling.
