Frank the Whale is a whale who first appears in "Ripped Pants."

Description

He is black in appearance and pale gray on the underside. Frank can be seen wearing a light olive-green and dark green suit, red tie, briefcase, and a small light brown hat with a red stripe in the episode "You Don't Know Sponge" and blue swim trunks in the episode "Ripped Pants."

History

In "Ripped Pants," he first appears emerging out of the sand, saying that the people who buried him in the sand forgot about him. He is then seen singing and playing the drums during the "Ripped Pants" song with Template:Data:Links.

He appears again in the episode "You Don't Know Sponge," where he hears Template:Data:Links making whale sounds. Frank hears Patrick's whale sound and thinks it is his ex-wife, Martha, calling until his friend assures him it is not.

Role in the series

"Ripped Pants"

After Spongebob ripped his pants off and realized the mistakes he made, he asks himself if he's the bigger loser on the beach, Frank pops up from underneath the sand, and revealed that he was buried in the sand and forgotten. He, along with Millie and Dexter asked Spongebob what happened to him and Spongebob sings about it. During the song, Frank plays on the drums. In the end, he and the other band members ripped their pants just like Spongebob.
