| ==Names==
| |
| Bert is the only generic name Incidental 211 has been given in the franchise. It was used for him in "Food PBFFT! Truck."
| |
| | |
| ==Role in series==
| |
| Bert has made very few appearances in the series. Like all "deep sea" type incidentals, he is a lot less common than the other incidental types due to usually being portrayed as a Rock Bottomite. He and Incidental 222 appear to be the most commonly used "deep sea" type incidentals and he makes his most prominent appearance in "Food PBFFT! Truck."

|
| |
| After getting off the bus, he is asked by SpongeBob for help, but seemingly ignores him by chasing after his glove balloon. He later finds SpongeBob and returns the balloon to him, after which he inflates SpongeBob's balloon to float back to Bikini Bottom. SpongeBob is happy to the thought of going home and says "Thank you!" in the tongue accent, but the glow fish responds by saying "You're welcome!" in a normal accent.
| |
| | |
| ==="Out of the Picture"===
| |
|
| |
| He is one of the few Rock Bottomites who appear when Squidward is delivering food to 237 Rock Bottom. When Squidward is scared of the Rock Bottomites, he calls the Rock Bottomites monsters, but SpongeBob appears to correct him, by saying that they are his friends. The fish then asks SpongeBob how he is doing before he and the other Rock Bottomites put on party hats and blow raspberries.
| |
| | |
| ==="The Night Patty"===
| |
| He is seen as a customer at the Krusty Krab night shift where he is seen disliking the taste of a Krabby Patty as well as liking the taste of a Night Patty. He also watches SpongeBob fight the Fisherman.
| |
| | |
| ==="SpongeBob's Big Birthday Blowout"===
| |
| He is one of the party guests who walk past SpongeBob's parents. He can later be seen dancing with the eel when all of the other party-goers start dancing. He is also one of the characters who yell "surprise" when Larry the Lobster catches Sandy by surprise.
| |
| | |
| ==="Food PBFFT! Truck"===
| |
|
| |
| This being his biggest role in the series yet, he first appears under a street light in Rock Bottom where he appears to be waving to SpongeBob and Squidward in their food truck. SpongeBob and Squidward try to go to him and sell him a Krabby Patty from their food truck but he just mysteriously disappears. After many numerous attempts of SpongeBob and Squidward trying to catch him, he finally goes up to the two of them himself and angrily asks them why they were chasing after him. SpongeBob then asks Bert why he was waving at them and Bert reveals that he was drying his armpits. SpongeBob then reveals to him that they were only trying to sell a Krabby Patty to him and he finally agrees to purchase one until Incidental 222 walks up to him after eating at the Krusty Krab and gives him some food from the Krusty Krab. Bert then tells SpongeBob and Squidward that he no longer needs a Krabby Patty from them.

| |
| *Despite having a male voice, he is anatomically a female anglerfish, possessing a lure which male anglerfish do not have.
| |
| *Unlike the other Rock Bottomites, he is capable of speaking without a Rock Bottom accent.
| |
| **However, in "Food PBFFT! Truck," he appears to only be capable of speaking in the Rock Bottom accent.
| |
| *Aside from the glowing lure, the glow fish bears little resemblance to real-life anglerfish.
| |
| *He makes his first speaking role in "Rock Bottom."
