The Bikini Bottom Hug Festival is an event that takes place in Bikini Bottom. It is a festival dedicated to hugging people, as others are seen doing this. It appears in the season 6 episode "Ditchin'."

While trying to get back to boating school, SpongeBob encounters the Bikini Bottom Hug Festival. He tries to walk through it, but is hugged by Norma Rechid.
