Black[1] is a Template:Data:Links who appears in the episode "One Krabs Trash" and the online game Snail Park.
Description
It is a black sea snail with a blue swirl on its shell. It has a blue body, a dark purple underside, and red-orange eyes. Since snails are the equivalent of cats in Bikini Bottom, Black is a reference to black cats, which are sometimes associated with bad luck.
Role in episode
Template:Data:Links goes to Floater's Cemetery to find the soda drinking hat. While there, he gets scared by a clam and scallops before stumbling upon Black. The snail hisses and slithers away, scaring Mr. Krabs even more.
Trivia
- The cat screeching sound effect used for Black is "Hollywoodedge, Cat Domestic Meow Ang AT010501," which can be found in the Animal Trax sound effects library from the Hollywood Edge.
- Unlike Gary the Snail being voiced by Tom Kenny, Black is uncredited in Snowball Effect and One Krabs Trash (credits).
