Plot
SpongeBob's cousin BlackJack has just been released from jail. Now he wants to meet SpongeBob. But before he does, he goes and pays a visit to SpongeBob's parents and their grandma. SpongeBob thinks they're in trouble and goes of to warn them before its too late, so he seeks help from his uncle, Captain Blue SquarePants.

Trivia/Goofs
- Comcast refers to this episode as "In Search of Ma and Pa Sponge."
- This is an episode where some more of Spongebob's family is shown.
- Everytime Spongebob tries to get Captain Blue's attention, he is mistaken and given a chore to do.
- In Spongebob's memories, it made it look like to the viewers that Blackjack was this huge monster, but at the very end, Blackjack is big enough to hit and punch Spongebob's big toe. Either Spongebob overreacted, Blackjack stayed his size while Spongebob grew, or in jail, he magically shrunk.
- The music uncle captain Blue was playing is the title card music of Shell Of A Man.
- The title card music is used at the start of Culture Shock.
