Trivia
General
- Unlike what Mr. Krabs says, SpongeBob actually has been late to work as proven by this episode.
- Squidward is happy about SpongeBob's presumed death, although he was worried about his presumed death from explosive pie in "Dying for Pie."
- When this episode first aired, it was paired up with "Senior Discount." [citation needed]
- Con man says that there's no more models of SpongeBob's alarm clock, although in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie which takes place after every episode of the series SpongeBob has his clock.
Cultural references
- One background is a reference to The Persistence of Memory, made by Spanish artist, Salvador Dalí.
