Bubble Bass is an overwieght bass that has appeared a few times in the series.. He appears to be particularly fussy. It is also clear that SpongeBob and Bubble Bass have met before, and that Bubble Bass is merely looking to test SpongeBob's fry cook skills. Bubble Bass hid pickles under his tongue, however, no one knew about it. SpongeBob is convinced that he forgot to put pickles on Krabby Patty, he goes into a state of shock, and takes time off of work, claiming he has forgotten how to make Krabby Patties altogether. However, SpongeBob later achieves his confidence back and resumes his role as frycook when it is revealed that Bubble Bass has been merely hiding the pickles beneath his tongue the entire time.
