It also includes a Template:Data:Links buildable figure which is different from that of the one featured in the LEGO set Heroic Heroes of The Deep (3815). The SpongeBob model looks different from the rear. It includes many features that are interactive, ranging from his brain to his face changing its expression.

  • The set is loosely based on the episode "Plankton!," Plankton's first appearance of the show.
  • This is the only SpongeBob set that isn't minifigure scale.
    • This is also the only SpongeBob set not to include a SpongeBob minifigure, although he is the set itself this time.
  • Its name is a parody of the real life toy retailer Build-a-Bear.
  • One of the stickers in this set is Plankton's notoriety from the episode "The Algae's Always Greener."
  • The set comes with multiple interchangeable mouths for SpongeBob.
  • The built set's back doubles as a small shelf.
