He comes back to the Krusty Krab where Mr. Krabs kicks him out again because only missing one day of work isn't a vacation. • When SpongeBob is on a "vacation," he sings like he did in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.
  • Despite Patrick's stupidity and SpongeBob's offer to teach him, Mr. Krabs denied because he thought it would be a work fine. However, in "Big Pink Loser," he did a horrible job for his stupidity, it might be possible that this happened before this episode, Mr. Krabs did not notice, or due to Patrick's amount of work time being insignificant.

Cultural references

  • The magazine Squidward is reading is called Squid Ink. This is a parody of the 1991 magazine Teen Ink.
  • In the part where Mr. Krabs brings SpongeBob into the woods, the way it is done has an Artificial Intelligence theme, when the mother throws the robot child into the woods.

Errors

  • When SpongeBob says he needs to get out of the house, if the viewer looks carefully where his legs should be, his legs are not there.
  • The grill is on the opposite side as it usually is.
  • When Patrick was cooking the patties wrong, SpongeBob said that Krabby Patties must be cooked at exactly 298 degrees, but in "Someone's in the Kitchen with Sandy," he said that Krabby Patties must be cooked at exactly 274 degrees. It could be that he warmed up the temperature because it wasn't warm enough on the patties at that time.
  • When Mr. Krabs is driving and says "Uh-huh," his eyes are white instead of yellow in that scene.
  • Mr. Krabs drives SpongeBob deep into the woods when he throws SpongeBob's spatula into the woods, but when SpongeBob walks away (to the path Krabs drove away) thinking Krabs is replacing him, he exits the woods almost immediately.
  • When Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob to get out, not only did SpongeBob back out completely instead of out of the Krusty Krab, but both the Chum Bucket and its path are missing.
