Burger Beard the Pirate is the main antagonist of the film The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water as well as the books The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water: The Junior Novelization, Plank-Ton to the Rescue!, Plank-ton's Big Plan!, Krabby Patty Caper, The Good, The Bad, and the Krabby! and online games Bikini Bottom Defenders and SpongeBob's Pirate Pursuit.

Biography

At some point, he got a ship and met some talking seagulls.

During the events of The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, he met Template:Data:Links, Template:Data:Links, Template:Data:Links, Template:Data:Links, Template:Data:Links, and Template:Data:Links. He also found a Magic Book and opened up a restaurant that was his ship.

At the end of the movie, he was immortalized as an artist's rendition, which is known as "Painty the Pirate."

Role in movie

His evil plot in the movie was to steal the Krabby Patty secret formula so he can add it to the Magic Book that he possesses. In the magic, every evil plan he writes down comes true, and the secret recipe completes the book for this to happen. SpongeBob and his friends traveled to the surface to stop him and rewrite the story.

He had the same plot just like in the movie until SpongeBob and his friends traveled to the surface to stop him and foiled his plans.

Trivia

Though his actions motivated by greed and appeared not as notorious as Plankton in the first film, Burger-Beard is arguably the most dangerous (if not cataclysmic) and toughest antagonist of all SpongeBob SquarePants villains, as he easily let Bikini Bottom descend into a post-apocalypse state by stealing the Krabby Patty recipe through his magic book, have no qualms of Bikini Bottomites' fate, and it took all superpowered main casts alongside superpowered Plankton to finally defeat him, unlike in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, where it took only SpongeBob and Patrick to defeat Plankton.
