The Bus of Bikini Bottom is a public transportation vehicle that appears in many SpongeBob episodes.

Design and boarding

Bikini Bottom buses are red in the series, while the LEGO version is orange. They also have porthole windows and periscopes on the top, giving them the appearance of a submarine with wheels. The Bus is stopped locally at the Bus Stop in the streets in Bikini Bottom. It also resembles the look of a shrimp.

Typically, most of its passengers are regular citizens. Though animals are also allowed to board the bus, as shown in Dumped, Have You Seen This Snail?, and Pet or Pests. Most buses, possibly all or just one, seem to have a "no singing" policy as seen in A Flea in Her Dome.

Trivia

• In the episode "The Thing ", the Bikini Bottom Zoo bus looked more different than the original bus. This one was probably an older model from the late 1980's. 
• The Bikini Bottom Bus has not appeared in a recent episode yet. It may be seen again by late Season 9 or around Season 10 .
