Template:Image-qualityTemplate:PersonCasey Alexander (born September 12, 1975; age Template:Age) is a former SpongeBob SquarePants crew member. He worked on the show from Template:Data:Links to mid-Template:Data:Links.

He frequently worked with Zeus Cervas. In season 4, he was teamed up with Chris Mitchell, until Template:Data:Links, where he then teams up with Zeus Cervas.

Biography

Casey began working on the show in 2005 and is a graduate of Cal Arts. He left the show after mid-Season 9 to begin working on the Cartoon Network series Uncle Grandpa.[1]

He wrote on SpongeBob for a decade and had written on almost 100 episodes. During his time while he was still writing, Casey and Zeus were among the most loyal writers of the crew, being the only writers besides Luke Brookshier and Marc Ceccarelli to write for season 9 after the departure of Aaron Springer in the previous season.

In 2018, he directed some Unikitty! episodes for Cartoon Network.

Trivia

  • Casey has stated that his favorite character from SpongeBob SquarePants is Squidward Tentacles.
  • Casey has also stated that his least favorite episode from SpongeBob is "Atlantis SquarePantis".
  • In 2012, three years before Stephen Hillenburg returned to work for SpongeBob in 2015, after the death of Ernest Borgnine in July 8, 2012, he stated on Twitter that he no longer wrote anymore SpongeBob episodes because he wanted to work for Uncle Grandpa after production of "Yeti Krabs" ended before the episode premiered in other countries in 2013 (including Greece) and in the United States of America in 2015, so Kaz now takes over for him after he returned to the show after a long gone hiatus.
    • He was the Supervising Director and Creative Director in Uncle Grandpa, until the show ended in Summer 2017. [1]
