Chovy is one of the many anchovies at Kamp Koral, but one who wants to be different from the others. He appears in the episode "What About Meep?"

Description

He is a light brown anchovy that wears a white shirt, gray pants, a red kerchief, and a brown belt with a golden buckle.

Personality

Chovy, despite being an anchovy, resents acting like all the other anchovies at Kamp Koral and desires to be unique with his own personality. For example, he says "moop" instead of the usual "meep" that most anchovies say, and can also occasionally speaks bouts of normal English.

Role in episode

He is first seen alongside the other anchovies, following along and having fun with the activities. However, during lunch time he picks a different flavor of slop from the other anchovies, shocking them. Chovy and the other anchovies have a meeting in their cabin, but Chovy's differing opinions from the rest sadden him, causing him to leave as the others watch.

After walking around Kamp Koral for a bit, he comes across Template:Data:Links and Template:Data:Links. He explains his situation to the two (with SpongeBob being a translator), so the two bring him back to their cabin to help him get a personality. Chovy then starts mimicking the two to see if it's right for him, and later mimics Template:Data:Links and Template:Data:Links when they arrive, though none of them work.

Back outside, SpongeBob and Patrick help Chovy try more personalities like a jock (with Template:Data:Links giving him weights) or a chef (with Template:Data:Links putting him on a pizza). After a montage of unsuccessful personality types, the three lay on the ground, tired from all the work. Chovy becomes dejected and walks away, but notices and becomes obsessed with a mop, putting the mop's head on his head like a wig.

Chovy realises that the mop head gives him the uniqueness he wants, and returns to the Barge cabin to show the other anchovies. However, the other anchovies put on mop wigs to copy him, causing him to take off the wig in annoyance and take a nap instead, uttering a "meep" before falling asleep.
