Chumbalaya is a type food from the Chum Bucket. It first appeared in the episode, "F.U.N.". It was mentioned by Plankton after SpongeBob knocked on the door. Plankton said "Our special today is Chum... Balaya". As always, it is marked with a "new" sign on the menu. However, it has been new on the menu for over 15 years. It is never seen in the show.
Trivia
- It is a speculated parody of the Creole dish, Jambalaya.
- It's unknown why the Chumbalaya sign has said new for over 15 years.
- In the TV show, Chumbalaya is spelled in 2 separate words.
