It is mostly known for being the dramatic cue that plays at the end of some specials' first parts. The main instruments being played in the piece include low brass, a timpani, cymbals, and other percussion instruments.

Trivia

  • The track coincidentally plays in "The Great Patty Caper" when Plankton closes the train's door.
  • Between "Trenchbillies" and "Married to Money," The 3 Challenges took five years to return.
  • Closing Door Sting, The 3 Challenges and Closing the Door use a sampled orchestral crescendo from Orchestral Colours called "Crescendo Fin 10." Closing the Door Sting uses "Crescendo Fin 10 A."
