Synopsis
While SpongeBob and Patrick are walking around, Patrick sees a cluster of candy coral. SpongeBob notices a nearby sign warning about the coral, and the two decide to just admire the coral. However, they cannot handle the temptation, and soon lick the coral, which makes their tongues swell up. The two start to panic and run around, but their tongues get tied together and they hurt themselves.
Later, SpongeBob and Patrick are in a doctor's office, where Fred notes how their tongues have stopped swelling. To reward the two for being such good patients, he tries to give them lollipops, but SpongeBob and Patrick believe that they will make their tongues swell up. The two run away screaming as Fred looks at the lollipops in confusion.

- The comic's title is a pun, due to how the candy coral makes SpongeBob and Patrick's tongues swell up.
- Candy coral may be based on the Caulastraea, a genus of stony coral sea commonly called "candy cane corals."
